I took depakote in my late teens and early twenties. For me it worked for a while. It made my ministration irregular. I've known people who take depakote and its a good drug. I now take lamictal and keppra and finally am seizure free for the longest time in my life,3 years good luck and God bless.

I have had medicines before that work for a few months and then stop doing anything. I hope Depakote doesn't because so far it is good. I am still taking Lamictal but haven't needed an Ativan since adding Depakote.
I pray you will all get seizure control and have the courage to live each day till you do.
