I'm still here, and I had a seizure a week ago Sunday. I threw my back out the previous Wednesday, and the doctor prescribed a steroid (methylprednisolone) for any inflammation. It was a six-day pack; 4 mg per pill. Sunday Mom and I went to a family function, and on the way back I took a nap and had a seizure (Mom was driving). When we got home, she looked at the paper that came with the scrip, and it said to take extra care if you were on AED's. So we believe that was the reason for the seizure. The upshot is that I can't take that type of steroid. Hopefully that was the only reason and I won't have any more seizures. I had been seizure-free for a year and a half until then.
