RE: [epilepsy] Re: CAUSES AND SYMPTOMS OF SEIZURES

Hi

I personally avoid bright lights and especially flashing or strobe lights. They aggravate me something bad.

You can definitely have seizures in a theatre-could be from the lights. After my last seizure, it took about 3 weeks to get back to normal. ..usual time for people is 2 weeks. Stress and lack of sleep are big causes of seizures. I make sure to be in bed early, and nap on the weekends.

Hi Sue,

How so you know you didn't have a seizure in your sleep? Possibly a stronger seizure than usual? You say you lost time, well? Your description of the day before is truly setting yourself up for a strong seizure!!! Boy can I relate to that happening, it happened to me often! And I knew when I spent to much time on the tv or computer, it would cause it! Take care, keep a smile on your face!
