My seizures wheren't under control 1988-2008 so couldn't drive a car. I drove my bike constantly getting from place to place and also for exercise to release stress. Exercise rides where basically 20 miles keeping up a pace of 10-12 mph on the weekends. First played 2 hours of tennis in the mornings. I rode my bike because I couldn't drive a car by law, but it was legal to drive a hikeon those same rodes. Yes accidents can happen and did. I once went into a seizure on my bike on a rode and shattered a color bone into 3 pieces.
If I didn't ride my bike, I would have kept my sanity because of not being able to release all the stress I had. I also did allot of biking on tails but getting to trails had to be on streets. But simple big rides of 20 miles where quick 2 hour rides. So, biking is a hell of allot safer! Especially if you have bike trails near by.
In those days I used to have 1-7 complex partial seizures each month. Take care, keep a smile on your face!
