Hi Sophia! I too have a daughter who has epilepsy and the depression goes with the epilepsy. Some meds can contribute to it but it is something that will from time to time be apparently evident. When my daughter is in a slump I try to give her more attention and do activities with her. And show lots of love. That does seem to make her feel better if only temporary, until she returns to herself again. You see I am living with a double edged sword, my daughter also has special needs in addition to uncontrolled epilepsy and it is a challenge to gauge how she really feels. Actually the support group thing sounds pretty good I probably need to look into it for myself. So I know how your heart aches when she is depressed. Doing "something" will also help You cope as well. Hope that helps.

Halley is in that depressed stage at the moment, why me?, and my life is over, and have to keep on top of her to take the medication.
