[epilepsy] Re: Hi erin again

 

Hi Erin,
I have had epilepsy since I was 12.Mine was due to a virus of unknown origin.It went misdiagnosed from the time I was 12 to 19.
I am on lamictal as well 100 am and 200 pm.Mine are for my migraines due to my encephalitis although I do take other meds for my seizures.

It is a good idea like Millie says to keep a journal .I have my meds where I can see them .Mine is so ease of filling my box.

It took me having a good support system to finely realize that I will have them the rest of my life and even tho I take my meds the seizures will act up (in my words).

I also had to come to the realization I may never drive a car(I'm 42
years old)I hated that I would never be NORMAL according to society's standards .I live in a small town where very few people have Epilepsy.How is your support system?
