But for me, milk is one of those foods that makes me hungrier! So, yes, experiment and see what your own responses are.

It's unclear how many calories is "too much" ... or if it is a matter
of calories or glycemic impact or what. It probably varies from person
to person. Some people do "semi-fasts" where only raw fruits and
vegies are allowed, and that seems to offer similar benefits to a full
fast. But other people do better if they don't take *anything* ...
even water ... during the fasting time.
So ... if you really need milk in your coffee ... experiment and see
what happens. And report back to us!
In my personal opinion though, milk is one of those foods that is very
chemically active in the body, which is likely why you crave it. Milk
has chemicals that trigger reactions of various types, and it tends to
calm hunger (it is the only food that would stop "the hungries" when I
was pregnant). But it also has a rebound effect and tends to make you
crave it more, which might be a good reason to get off it for awhile
and see what happens.
OTOH, tea and maybe coffee can be hard on an empty stomach, and THAT
might be the underlying issue. I had to give up tea on IF ... tea on
an empty stomach was just too irritating.
