i'm on keppra and i know it has side effects which it gives you mood swings a lot, my doctor put me on tegretol xr yo keep me from having side effects from keppra. i am on keppra and tegretol xr and it has better control of my seizures.

It takes a while for your body to get used to the med or meds--
maybe 3 or 4 weeks. I was told my personality changed.
