hmm..epilepsy is a chronic neurological disorder that is characterized by current unprovoked seizures.
seizures happen because of convulsion. convulsion occurs because of too much production of aspartate in the brain. the brain produces too much aspartate because it is not functioning well or it is damaged.
the question is what causes the damage of the brain cells. actually it is not the germs or the viruses. It is free radicals or toxic chemicals inside our body.

I don't see how someone could develop epilepsy after catching a virus. What exactly happened in order for that to occur?
