If I was going to use herbs with my child, and they were also taking prescription medicines for their condition - I would want to seek out a naturopathic physician that would team together with my child's doctor or neurologist.
I think your doctors gave you good advice since seizures are a very tricky thing.
I am an adult, and very knowledgeble about herbs - and can tell what they are doing in my body. It is different with a child.
But I also feel diet is extremely important and can have bad results if wrong foods are eaten. I don't know how much conventional doctors understand the effects of food and the brain.
Good luck!
Love,
Jnanda
