I want to thank everyone for their view points and information on the seriousness of "Serious" side effects. I called the school health office and they had me come in today for some tests. I'm toxic and have malnutrition. (kinda hard to believe since I'm still fat. Only signs I have of that are brittle hair and nails and really dry skin. Ok, i've lost 20 pounds in a month, but that's not a BAD thing when you start at 190.)
We went down and reapplied for food stamps to take care of the malnutrition and they've cut my phenytoin dose to 200. They said if the side effects don't diminish noticeably at the end of the week I should go to the ER and see what the docs say there. (We only really have nurses at school.) I wish I could afford the Keppra, since I have fewer seizures on it, though I still have break through seizures although much less. (Only about 5 a month)
