Hi Pat,
Believe it or not I can relate to what happened to you while driving!
These different times you lost your awareness of the situation at
night sure sound like seizure! How many of those times where at
night, how many during the day? The bright light of signs and cars at
night can bring on seizures. I used to be very light sensitive, big
time!
I once had a very lets say "interesting" time while bicycling on a
local trail. I was headed north on the trail. I remember exactly
where I was, next thing I know, I was about 1 1/2 miles south of that,
heading the other direction! So, some how I had to have gotten off
the bicycle, turned it around, and road on the trail has allot of
curves, rode up an overpass over a 4 lane road. Going up is steep!
Coming down you really fly fast! Well, all of a sudden I came out of
a fog like you see in the begining of a movie realizing you are in
London. Well, came out of this fog riding south down the trail. I
kept riding wondering whats going on!!! I knew I had to have had a
seizure (I usually have complex partials). I kept riding then got off
my bike seeing if I was scratched up, no I wasn't, but my water bottle
was gone. So simply walked just a bit to the the corner up ahead
where their was a stop light. When it turned green I walked across the
street to a 7-11 store. I was feeling just fine, thought I would get
some OJ. Well, this guy comes running up to me asking are you OK
(smile)! I look at him like whats with you (smile)! Locked up my
bike got some OJ feeling just fine. Since I was close to home just
rode home the last 4 miles or so. It was weird thinking about what
happened? How could I ride all that way while in a seizure? I most
definitely seized that moment LOL!!! I've never forgot that part of
my ride that day! Amazing with my memory! Take care, keep a smile on
your face!
Steve
So somehow our brains in some odd way just sometimes can do things
when we don't relaize it. Like me walking off trains all the time
during a seizure at the wrong stop, come out of the seizure with no
train in sight!!! Weird, but can relate to it!
You must be having seizures, You know that going through that if you
are at the wrong place at the wrong time, anything could happen, I
mean anything if you know what I mean!!! You know how bad it can be.
Contact your Dr. about it, now. Hold off driving, most likely they
will tell you to stop driving now. I had mostly complex partials,
only fell down one time that clutzy day (smile) with a complex
partial. I've had 2 grand mals, feel both times.
If you would like to talk with me about it, email me at

anything. Take care, keep a smile on your face!
