Re: [epilepsy] Your one favorite memory helper...

I watch TV and almost every nite I play 1-3 games on
the computer. Solitaire, TextTwist and __________. Forgot!
I think they are good for the brain.

Good question Doris.

At the end of each day I write down things at the top of a list that HAve to be done tomorrow and do in small
tiny steps/details. This makes my list long but that's ok.
As I do them I cross off, making myself proud at the end of the day at things I have accomplished.
Things left over that is ok...I just put them at the top of the list for the next day.
I also do puzzles usually word find type and by glancing over words it helps remember where I may have seen on
the page. This way can do a page very quickly if thinking is good :) (smile). Also do other puzzles like Free
Cell which is challenging but again if mind is with it should be able to win every time. I don't though :)

What do you do to relax? If brain is relaxed this also helps the memory. I take a couple hours away from
daily duties and computer each night before falling asleep and crochet, word puzzles etc. Deep breathing or
listening to soft music can also help relax.

Take care
Keep smiling
Julie
