[epilepsy] untrimmed posts-reading and writing

As a general rule here are some tips on reading untrimmed posts.
-the untrimmed portion of the post will start with "on (date) (so and
so) wrote:" if it was trimmed properly. When trimming posts leave this
line at the top of the untrimmed portion of the original message.

-The new message should go above the old one in the reply.

-When writing the new post it is ok to trim the old post after you type
your reply, but before sending it. Delete all portions of the old post
not relevant to your reply. For example, a post you are replying to
might be 3 paragraphs long, but your reply is primarly aimed at only 1-2
sentences. Trim all but those sentences, leaving the "On (date) (so and
so) wrote part at the top.

-If you are getting the digest, it is more work to find the new
material. If this is difficult for you, I would suggest getting
individual emails instead. Yes it is more "mail", but it is easier to
read and go through.

Hope this helps

Just a friendly reminder: Please remember to sign your post and remember to clean up messages when you reply to them.  This is especially important if you are on digest.  This not only helps out the list owner but, it makes messages much easier to read when they arrive in our inboxes.
