Hi Stephen,
You're obviously from the UK like me!! Yes people with certain medical condition, and epilepsy is one of the few medical conditions that people can apply for exemption from NHS prescription charges. And yes the bus pass is very useful too. I live within London so it (called a Freedom Pass) covers all of London's transport systems though not trains within London until after 9.30am and weekends. I also purchased a disabled railcard, for travelling away from London, but I'm not sure if I got the full use of it this past year one way and another.

I have epilepsy any body with medical complaints, are entitled to bus passes. We ask for a form to fill in sign it and then get our Doctor to sign it as well. We also get our prescriptions free. We can also apply for a disabled rail pass and we get a third knocked the rail fare. We have to pay the rest though.
Stephen.
