What medicine are you taking for your epilepsy? Is it delayed action or timed release?
I used to have two or three seizures every month about 5:00 am. Then the doctor put me on Tegretol XR (eXtended Release) and that problem disappeared.

I desperately need an ankle replacement, but once a month (sometimes twice) I have a nocturnal seizure after which I get up and stumble around the room for a couple of minutes. After the surgery I won't be able to walk--bear weight--on that foot for 2 months. It will greatly compromise operation if I did. I've tried meds and med combos for years and nothing works to control these irregular episodes. Any ideas appreciated.
