Just to say, that as the owner of another Yahoo group, I can see the owner/moderator of this group allows for members to create content in the Files section of the Group page. Some Groups only permit members to view Files. But here you can directly create a simple text file, or to upload a file written in, say, MS Word. Click the Files link just below the group photo and it is straightforward.
