[Healthy_Recipes_For_Diabetic_Friends] Chile Garlic Peanut Sauce - 6g Carbohydrate; 1g Dietary Fiber

 

I added 1 teaspoon Aleppo red pepper, and will add even more next time. This was a bland chile sauce.

Chile Garlic Peanut Sauce

3/4 cup water
1/3 cup lightly salted roasted peanuts
1 1/2 tablespoons nuoc mam -- Vietnamese fish sauce
2 tablespoons tuong ot toi -- Vietnamese chili garlic sauce
2 garlic cloves
1 tablespoon canola oil

In a high-powered blender, pulse all ingredients until very smooth.
