You might want to rethink "going cold turkey" ... I did, back when, but the first week was really awful, and I wouldn't do it again. Doing it as the book suggests ... pushing back the first meal by one hour, or even half an hour, a day, gives your body more time to adjust.

Well, third day was really, really difficult as I've posted. Day four, though was easy-peasy, barely hungry at all. So I was a little shocked to have another rough day today. Around 11am, I started gettting really really hungry, started thinking non-stop about food, and it didn't go away until the middle of the afternoon. I made it through to 5pm, but with white knuckles, I'm afraid.
I am really hoping this gets easier in the next couple of days. It was so difficult today I couldn't accomplish anything, because I was so distracted by being hungry.
I really want this program to work for me, and yesterday was really encouraging. But I don't know how many days like today I can get through before rethinking my committment to this.
