We were always told to just continue on with our regular schedule (consider
yourself lucky as you said). We were told doubling up on the medication could
have a worse effect because then your levels could get too high.. The half-life
on your med (the amount of time it stays in your system) should be enough to
carry you over. If you are seriously concerned, contact your doctor. But this is
what we were told.

Subject: [epilepsy] What to do?
What do you do when you find you have missed a dose of seizure meds? I take
meds 3 times a day and due to lupus fog, I came downstairs this morning to
find my measured out yesterday afternoon pills right there in glass totally
untaken. I hate to tell you but now I am totally terrified. Should I just
ignore it and consider myself blessed that I got away with it or take a
xanax? Thanks, Carolyn
