got approved for the SSI. . He wasn't a public defender, because I had
already tried with one of those. Some of my friends introduced me to him,
they had used him for other causes and their SSI too. So I guess he was
private lawyer. My disability was approved a couple of years after I got out
of school. The lawyer showed that I was unable to drive and I am still not
able to get a driver's license and my parents were unable to help pay for my
medicine and the doctor bills. It took some time, but I did get it approved.
I hope this information helps you. Find a lawyer that will take cases and no
fee is necessary until you get approved and get paid. Take care, and if you
need anything write anytime.

Just a friendly reminder: Please remember to sign your post and remember to clean up messages when you reply to them. This is especially important if you are on digest. This not only helps out the list owner but, it makes messages much easier to read when they arrive in our inboxes.
