If you have had 3 grand mal szs in 7 months plus some absence ones -- why in the world would your
Dr. propose taking you off meds? it only makes sense to me that you take the meds that control
your szs-- and not mess around with anything else.

My seizures seem to have increased to 3 grand malls in the last 7 months.I have a lot of little absence ones where it lasts 1 or 2 min over the last year but the Dr was eventually going to lower dosage to nothing.He said he was hoping to get me off them all together.Since Ive had Epilepsy most of my life I knew med free was impossible .I am now on Keppra.I was on it and was removed cause the tegretol and Klonopin worked fine.Now I am off Klonopin(for a year)and now back to Keppra.
