Re: In Reply To: [epilepsy] need help for a family new to seizures

Thank you"
but life isn't so easy for-anyone, finding a needle in a hay-stack - is easier than finding the" Dr. you need to find.
note: if the family member is a' 911-case thou sometimes you are gonna notice: when you meet the doctor, but not when you talk to his receptionist"
that you can-only claim-it as a fraud to the insurance, then it's like: if a doctor has a specialty for that sort of: Neuro
he better be registered, ask and look up his history, if any bad-claims or people that saw him before you.
it's not easy finding a trusty good Doctor' in a snap of the finger, only U can notice when visiting & how you hear him speak.

plus his years of practice will tell a lot' but a good doctor will pass-you on to the right one, If he feels he isn't fully capable of treating the person.
but..but. if your family case is: 911 - go to a out paticance Hospital-emergency room, they will get you a good Doctor!
you love your family"
the clock is ticking...

What you said is very true. This family needs a neurologist who is familiar with dealing with a person who has autism and seizures. That means a neurologist who will listen, understands autism, and can sort through autistic behavior and see the difference between it and seizures. Not every neurologist can do that. There are a lot of neurologist that will just brush things off as autistic behavior which are really unmanaged seizures. That can be very dangerous. I have personally seen it happen and wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Nedra

The answer to your; #1 question:,
If you got insurance you can easily look-up in the Doctor-book for that area in, Dallas.
thou you can speak to an operator of your insurance live: and ask-them for something near where you want - in Dallas"
that never fails.

next: if you don't have an insurance and going to put out the cash-$, still seek that info: even by typing in that question to your browser: and or, if you got a general phasition they can help you find-one.
but try' google+

the info is at your finger tips...

subject: [epilepsy] need help for a family new to seizures

Hi,

I need help for a family new to seizures. Thirty percent of autism spectrum
people have seizures. My son Matt, is one but I just heard from another
family of a young man who joined this club this weekend. I am gathering
what information I have to give to this family who I know are overwhelmed
and reeling. But I wanted to ask here-

#1

Does anyone know a good neurologist for seizures in the Plano/ Dallas, TX
area?

#2

What is the best concise information you would give or wish you had about
seizures?

Thank you so much!

Grace and peace,
