I feel that I must respond to this. Epilepsy is categorized as a
neurological disorder, not a mental disorder. This is because it is a
failure of the neurons, nerve system, of the brain. Nerve related
disorders are not mental, but physical. I condition such as bi-polar
would be classified as psychological (mental).
