Brand name Anti Epileptic Drugs are allot better than a generic for anybody who has epilepsy.Generics work just fine in allot of conditions that requires no more than a copy of the brand names therapeutic medicine to be put into their body. But,epilepsy requires that the medicine be dispensed into the blood system at a controlled rate, generics don't copy the half life of the brand name and isn't of use in no time.Sure that person took the some drug, but was it totally therapeutic? There's a big difference for the better in taking brand name drugs over generic. This year is my fourth year taking generic drugs for epilepsy and this year is my fourth year of not having a grand mal seizure. When I was on generics drugs, I'd every year have at least 2 grand mal seizures. That is one of my strongest fears in life.

My genertic brands had been changed by my supplier! This was the second time I had passed out in a 3 week period, both times the level of medication in my blood was below the safe level. The first time they gave me an injection and I was allowed to leave in a few hours, unharmed. Apr 9th I ended up getting an injection and spending the night for pain management th
e result of having 2 broken ribs and other minor ijuries and bruises. The main thing stressed in the program I was watching was make sure the brands that work stay the same if possible. I will not name the drug at this time as I am going to have the medication test.
