Sometimes I get a jar like that. I don't know why sometimes a jar will be
oiler than a previous jar, maybe the peanuts used in that batch had a
higher oil content ,then when ground more oil was released. You can pour
off some of the oil before you mix up the whole jar. I pour it into a dish
or small jar so if the peanut butter is still dry after mixing I can add
more. If you don't add back all the oil you can use what is left over in
cooking or baking.
