Any all natural peanut butter needs to be thoroughly stirred before use. It's natural for that kind of product to separate over time. I get Adams Old Fashion Peanut Butter all the time and I have to stir it before I use any and after it's been unopened for a week or more.

Subject: Peanut Butter
I opened a jar of *Sunland* brand Peanut Butter and found the product to be excessively oily. I tasted it and found the it not of my liking. I am not sure if it is just me, so I want to get others opinions about the oily nature (oil floating on top).
