P's music is groundbreaking,since I 1st heard "Loving Cup" in 1977,I knew then that this was a special artist. His music from the late '70's kick as hard 2day as they did then,sometimes harder if I hadn't got around 2 playing it in a while. Songs from yesteryear can rock a party as hard as any song out 2day and I just can't explain the feeling I get when someone asks me "Is that Prince? Is that his new song?" And reply with a smile,"Naw,that song came out when u were on breast milk!"

I have read a lot on various sites about Prince's music being groundbreaking and that he is (or was) a genius:
In truth, would you say that because we had perhaps 'young ears' and we had never heard anything like Prince before or was Prince's music (or lyrics) truly groundbreaking?
Thinking on it, I know Prince is the 'main' reason why an album would have a 'parental sticker' on it, so that is a first of sorts for the MPLS Genius, one would think ...
