Are you sure it was a panic attack? It's just that several years ago I had what I thought was panic attack. I felt OK except I had to make an important phone call and couldn't think what I needed to say. I knew what it was I needed to say as it wasn't difficult, but I sat my the phone practising and the more I did this the less confident I became. In the end I thought this is silly I can do this. I dialled, someone answered, and I stuttered my name and the question with long delays between.
My wife arrived home just as I'd finished the call and recognised seizure behaviour in me. This had carried on for some hours and I had a repeat in different circumstances 2 weeks later. After these two events I called the neuro. I explained all and he concluded it was complex partial seizure activity and recommended an emergency dosing of clonazepam until I could go for my appointment which was 2 months away.
Your experience may be totally different but at the time I convinced myself it was some sort of panic/anxiety attacks.
