Last Sunday night I was on the computer when I started getting spots in front of my eyes. Next thing I knew, I was sitting on the floor with my mom standing over me asking me if I was alright. That's right, I had a seizure. That means I can't drive for 6 months legally. That got me to thinking of all the things that would have gone differently if I didn't have epilepsy, and I think it would (for the most part) be better.
First of all, I would like to think I would have been a better student, because then I wouldn't have been taking meds that made me like a zombie. I would probably have finished college and probably be in a job that I liked more (don't get me started on the job I have now). I would have more of a social life, and would probably be married with children by now, instead of single and living with my mom yet. I wouldn't be taking any meds at all (not to mention the cost involved). All in all, I'm not a very happy camper right now.
