Re: [fast5] New member introduction

Well, i've been fast-5:ing for more than two years. I've no weight to lose left (guy, 163 lbs, 6' and still have some muscles left (o: ), but i'm still doing it because it simplifies my life alot and I feel good when doing it. Sometimes I do lunches with my job friends, but only about once a month. Otherwise my window is between 3PM-8PM. I'm also a bit restrictive what I eat. I'm not a low carber, but I mostly avoid grains and sugar. I'm also not a fan of polyunsaturated fats.

Good luck with your weight loss journey, fast-5:ing is a great way to do it. Remember to not be in a hurry, and do _not_ try to eat as little as possible to make it quicker, it wont work long term. Eat whan you are hungry until you're not (if you are in your eating window).

Hello all,

Just a quick post to introduce myself to the group. My name is Vickie. I am a 30-something housewife and mom of two. I came across a link to this group on a web forum.

I read the Fast-5 ebook about a month ago and decided to try it out. I lost 5 lbs over a couple of weeks, but then I got sick with an ear infection. I was taking antibiotics and had to take it with food to keep it from upsetting my stomach. Kind of upset my eating window schedule. I also gained back 2 1/2 lbs :-/

Now I'm feeling much better and am back on schedule. I eat from 6 to 10 pm. I have about 20 more lbs to lose to be in a healthy weight range for my height and build.

I'm looking forward to sharing experiences and motivation. I'm very new to fast-5. Does anyone in this group follow it as a permanent lifestyle?

Vickie
