Have had some experience with these seizures with our daughter. I too have had them am sure but not legally
diagnosed if you will. With our daughter it was the epileptologist that diag. her. Medication is the same,
sometimes the cause, just like the others is ever known, in some cases stress is a huge factor, they are just
as serious and important the way they are treated as the real ones. This doctor gave us a real run down on
how he could tell and that although they are called non-epilepsy ones, they are just as serious as the real
ones.
Do everything the same as you would with the real ones. Our daughter one day while in hospital had 200+ of
the GM in a row and we just couldn't count any more. She had been put in a Dr. Induced Coma as the first dr
just didn't know what was the matter with her. When the Epileptologist saw her in it at a different hosp. he
nearly had a heart attack himself. In his experience with epilepsy and the induced coma he said that was one
of the worst things the doctor could have possibly done and he had seen patients die while in them.
As for the eucalyptus oil, it could cause something but remember what triggers something for you may not for
me so it is not necessarily the thing unless it happens 'every' time to you. Keep a diary and you will know if
it is causing you seizures to follow within hours or that day or two.

For those that also have been diagnosed with non epileptic seizures what has been the cause of them and also
the treatment for them. Docs haven't been able to find a cause for mine. I have been having a series of them
again. 4 since oct 18. Had 2 on sun which I haven't had 2 in one day in several years and then only then a
couple of times in the past.
I also didn't get any response to my inquiry about shampoo with eucalyptus oil in it causing seizures so I
guess no one knows anything about it.
