When my son was on Depakote he started having other awful neurological issues. Once or twice a week he would get dizzy and start walking like a drunken sailor. He would fall and then be out. But for six to eight hours he would cycle between sleeping and vomiting. It was awful. His doc didnt connect It to the depakote, so he kept taking it. His bloodwork was awful too. Low white blood count and platelets. I finally made a chart so they could see it was the depakote. He is off now. Didn't lose his hair , but it is now curly.

He is doing better on trileptal and zonigran. He still has seizures but only twice a month.
