Regards

Adrien

Hi Susan

You have no reason at all to be ashamed, nor because you can
not think quite as quickly nor long as you use to. Hey girl
for one thing we are all getting one day older each day than
use to, everyone does.

When you get down on yourself because you can not drive,
stick your head up high and say to yourself ah ha I can at
least walk to that bus stop or get a ride from my friend
maybe helping a little to pay for the gas.
What is everyone telling us to do these days....save the
environment and walk or get together and drive in groups.
Should someone ask you, stick your chin up high and let them
know. If you can't say 'because I have epilepsy' then tell
them otherwise. Lots of people walk these days.

Oh and hey....just because we can not think or concentrate
as long as use to, the by no means mean we are slow. We are
actually more smarter than a lot of other people out there,
just the words are sometimes on the tip of our tongue and
don't get out when suppose to.

So my friend, be brave and hold your head high. There is a
bright light at the end of the rainbow. Keep smiling.

(((Hugs)))
Julie

For some reason....I feel ashamed, mostly because I can't
drive, think as quickly or concentrate as long. I am
thankful that I am not on disability yet.

I wish you both the very best. I've had epilepsy for 30
years and I've been through a lot as well. I had brain
surgery done 6 years ago and it did not work and that is
very frustrating but there is nothing that I can do.
I'm trying to enjoy each and everyday. Someday, I know there
will be a cure but there needs to be more research done on
this condition. At least it is not hidden anymore like it
was years ago.
