MINNEAPOLIS - In the early 1980s, The Time helped create what would become known as the "Minneapolis sound." Now, the Original 7ven members say it's time for a reunion, and they sat down with FOX 9's Maury Glover to talk about their new music.
This weekend will mark the first time in more than two decades that the original members of The Time will take to the stage -- but this time, they are bringing completely original music to the table along with all of their old hits.
The members say they worked to keep their light-hearted style and funky sound that made them famous 30 years ago while they wrote and produced their new tracks.'
The band released a new album called "Condensate" last month, and will take to the stage at the State Theater on Saturday night. They hope to embark on a national tour next year, and say they will record more music in the future.
