I have a 5 yr old daughter who started having seizures when 8 weeks old. Interestingly our dog sometimes can distract her from her seizure. Our dog is getting older and I wondering the benefits of a seizure service dog for a young child when it is ime for us to get a new dog. Also I wanted to let everyone know about this new disease called CDKL5. All girls who have seizures when less than 1 year old and developmental delay should be checked for this. Most girls with this disease have been misdiagnosed with something else or are undiagnosed. To find out more visit www.cdkl5.com. ALso the CDKL5 foundation is supporting research that may be beneficial in many types of epilepsy. We are in the Pepsi challenge this month to win $50,000 for Research we could use your help to vote for our idea. The top ten vote getters get the grant from Pepsi. Pleae visit www.cdkl5.com to help
