I agree w/JD – you need a Dr to rely on … but not to disregard your question, it took weeks (6-8) for my son to get up to full dosage when he was 12 years old. It is a scary time, as there are serious things that can go wrong during this timeframe. What city are you in.. stateside or foreign? All said, Lamictal was good for my son's situation. J

I'm truthfully not aware you should ask either your doctor, or pharmacist at your pharmacy. I'm so sorry to not be at help in this issue but as I said with myself it's done wonders, and it's also called having a good neurologist.
