[epilepsy] vimpat

 

I have been on vimpat 200mg a day, trileptal 450 a day for seizures and pramipexole .5 mg three times a day for restless legs. Also have the VNS system implanted in my chest to help control the seizures. Really have have a hard time sleeping and functioning normal due to the side effects of the meds. Does any one know what I can do to help my sleep. Not sleeping really makes it hard makes it hard to take care of my 2 boys. They somewhat understand but still and that helps. With the VNS it has really decreased the amount of seizures I have. I have a appointment with M.D. the first of May, but I still need some sleep in the mean time. Maybe he could give me something to help me sleep, but I don't wand to rely on it to sleep. Thank you, JOE
