[epilepsy] Telling the time and sentence completion

Just thought of something to ask the group.

My husband (epileptic since his mid-30s, now in his late 40s), has always been able to tell the time correctly to within 10 or 15 minutes, without referring to a watch or clock, and any time he is awake - night or day, regardless of the weather. You can ask him what time it is, he'll think for a second or two, and then say 'around xx:xx, and sure enough, this will usually be within 10 minutes of the time. He doesn't wear a watch, and never has in the 32 years I've known him.

Does anyone else on this group have this ability? I'm wondering whether it is connected to the epilepsy, or whether it is just something different about him. It does come in handy at times. :-)

The other thing I find interesting is the way he tends to join in with people when they are nearing the end of a sentence - and almost completes their sentence with them. I get the feeling that he is repeating what they have just said, and is actually a couple of milliseconds behind them, but it sounds as though he is joining in with them and completing the sentence with no prior knowledge of what they will be saying. He doesn't seem to recognise that he does this.

Does anyone else do this?
