Re: [epilepsy] Re: Driving with Epilepsy

As a parent of an adult daughter (Dani, age 25) who would very much like to
be able to drive, I will put my 2 cents in here. I think you should make
sure you get an actual letter from your doctor and keep a copy with you.
Sometimes docs *forget* what they tell you verbally.

Dani recently went on on a date and tried her hand at go cart racing. It
didn't go so well. I never heard what exactly happened, but she had bruises
from the seat belt and up and down her left arm :(.

Oh 1 more thing, many of us my live near stateline(s). We live near where
Ind, KY, and Ohio come close together. Remember when you cross statelines
the laws are probably different.
