Yahoo Groups is lousy and has been a terrible service for the last few years. I have own several lists since 2000 and have seen the terrible decline of Yahoo Groups. I moved all of my groups to Groups.io months ago and it is wonderful. https://groups.io/ Group.io will move all of the archived messages and help the list owner and members through the whole process. It takes less than a day. There is no need for any particular email account.
