In Reply To: [epilepsy] Re: changing brands of tegretol

Hi there & hello to all,

what you spoke of is true!
thou the real-version of a medicine is pure - seems to encounter our bodies and the exact purpose of what it's suppose to correct in our health.
something very-important: always take your dosage at the same time every-day'
with no-more than 1 hour after than normal - or 1 hour-less than your normal routine.

as by the clock of your day: when you wake up: if you are given to take 2 of the same pill in one day"
from the time you awake, and sleep you're not awake for 12 hours - but example: take your first at 9am"

that will cover you for 12 hours.
then at 9pm you take the night pill for even as you sleep: it works for those 12 hours, untill the next day at 9am again' for the next day.

meaning your body and brain' will get on the 24-hour coverage and as you have a steady clock pattern to take your medication: the better balanced your body will be and a sterdy healthy feeling.
even with epilepsy"

Hello
For me it was the opposite. When I was on the generic tegretol, I was having grand mal seizures every third to fourth month. Since my Dr. Has changed my medication to the real tegretol, 6 years ago this month I have never had a grandmal seizure. I still have complex seizures about 2 times each month.
