I know epilepsy can be frustrating and am grateful for this group so we can be for each other.
My last bad seizure experience was because of an accidental overdose. Aside from my epilepsy medicines, I have medicines for Fibromyalgia. I use one of those days of the week things. Thursday I woke up and took the morning medicines while still incoherent and not really awake. Later when coherent I reached for the medicine thing and took the morning medicine, not knowing I was taking Friday morning dose. Meaning Thursday I took both morning doses, as well as Thursday noon and night doses and didn't realize what I had done till going to take Friday morning medicine.
Warning to everyone----Find a way so that when you take your morning medicines you are coherent enough to know you take them and don't re-take morning dose them later when you are awake/alert. Overdosing isn't fun. I take Lyrica for Fibromyalgia and think it was that. I don't think it was the Tramadol, which I also take.
I wasn't having seizures but wasn't awake for more than a few seconds most of the day. I slept a lot of that day and almost all the next day and a lot of the day after, as well as sleeping nights. I told one person this and was told I can't be afraid to go out because of the chance of having a seizure. I wasn't afraid, just physically unable to stay awake to go out.
Hope this never happens to any of you. I'd love to hear how all of you are doing.
