Robert, Thank you for your reply. Now, I am waiting for my mother to say my brain aneurysm doesn't exist. My brain aneurysm is the root of all my health problems. It caused the hydrocephalus, and the surgeries for those caused the epilepsy.I was similarly annoyed when a neurologist said (after seeing me have a seizure on video telemetry) that whilst the EEG recorded epileptic activity when I was not seizing, but not whilst I was in the seizure. He suggested it might have been an 'emotional episode'. Well all I was doing was eating my breakfast in bed, in the hospital whilst wired up and viewed for telemetry. As I recall I was munching into some toast!
Anyway I challenged him about this when he told me (this was some hours afterwards and I'd had all the wired taken off). He said that he didn't doubt I also was having having epileptic seizures as well. Of course I do - AEDs have worked on me and he knew that. Then there was some suggestion that the wires might not have recorded properly in the violence of the episode.
