I can vouch for this author (Joanna Lund) since I have one of her books...'Cooking healthy with a man in mind'. I've found many recipes in it that I really enjoy. In fact, this was a good reminder for me to get it out and go through it again. It seems like she might have other books out too. I'd check Amazon.com.
What kinds of foods do you like, Don? I was single and on a diet for years, so have devised many tips & tricks along the way. I'd be glad to share them with you.

look for any cookbook by Joanna Lund her food is good easy to prepare and items that can be found in a small town grocery store. Several titles start with healthy choices or some like that
