Re: [epilepsy] Medications type and strength

 

Iwas told by my parents I've had Epilepsy as a child was on medication till age 5 from 5-9 I was on no meds. At 9 was hospitalized back on meds. At age 14 at school had a SEIZURE & that was the last 1 till 1980 age 20 about 3 weeks after I had a minor head injury in a car acident 2 weeks later was hospital because of a SEIZURE was in for 1 week  didn't have another 1 till less than 2 years later & then I started to have them constantlyin 1982 they countiued several a month changed Drs. in 1994 question 1 of my meds was taken off it went almost 2 years without a SEIZURE. Then they started up again but not as bad as 82-94. for about 10 now I've had a VNS inplant & with the exception the # of SEIZURES have droped big time. Now if I can go till 1600 (4pm) 0n the 19th I will have gone 6 1/2 months without a SEIZURE.
