Did your seizures begin spontaneously or were you in any kind of accident? I don't know all the statistics. I have read that almost one in ten people will have a seizure in their lifetime.
I think it is fantastic that most seizures respond well to medications.
Macy is on topamax, onfi, and stiripentol. She takes around five pills two times a day. She started having seizures at 6 months old. Some of her seizures would last over an hour. These days they normally only last a couple minutes thank gosh. Her condition is caused by a mutation in one of her genes.
