I've never heard that about absence seizures. I wonder if anyone else has.
I'm glad you have the LPN for now. Can you see a neurologist in the future though? Especially if things don't start improving for her. I wonder if she holds her breath without being aware of it or something but even that doesn't make sense because you'd think she would breathe if touched or spoken too and reminded. I hope your doctor can give you some information.
You sound like a great mom, especially since you have adopted so many. And the rest of your kids sound great. I don't know their age or if they had a hard time having adopted siblings but keep doing what you are doing.
