Hello Erin,
I defiantly can sympathize with you there. I was diagnosed with epilepsy when I was about 7, and do get gran mal seizures (not in the same feqency as you) about 1 every year. But right after my seizures I do suffer from a bit of depression, nothing I have been diagnosed with; not that I want any more medications in my life. In my case I don't try to let my condition let get me down for to long. I try to pick myself up and go about my business, living life to its fullest. I make sure that all my supports are in place, emergency contracts, medical bracelet, etc. In my case I make epilepsy and my seizures a part of my daily like. I have epilepsy…. It does not have me.
Mirek.
