What about telling them that you can only remember a few sentences (you pick the number) at a time and they need to let you write.
Or if writing takes too long, then how do you do with just main ideas, more like outline style?
Does writing or speaking help you remember? Would repeating the topic of what they just said make a difference?
Somehow I'm afraid writing something will feel like it is taking forever while they wait, and be almost impossible in groups where others would start talking while you write.
